Youth World Games Team Canada

Brooke BarberHi my name is Brooke Barber. I am from Carbon, Alberta Canada. I am 15 years old. This is my first year with Team Canada, although I did come to watch the games 2 years ago when Canada brought home the silver medal. I am the president of the AjPHC here in Alberta and I am also in 4-H. I love to play basketball and volleyball through the winter months and of course go to the shows with my horse A Supreme Sequel aka Mystic in the summer months. Our whole team consists of “newbie’s” to the games this year. I am so proud and excited to be coming to Fort Worth to see all the people and horses. Good Luck to everyone competing at the world show and the Youth Games.

Breana BaileyMy name is Breana Bailey. I am 17yrs old and am in grade 12 at River Glen School in Red Deer. I have been riding since before I could walk, and I started showing horses when I was 5 in lead line. I have shown several horses in the youth the most recent being WH Prince Of Power with which I earned a Youth Championship and finished #2 in Zone 10. I currently have a new horse. He's A Heavenly Choice who I will show this year. I am excited and honored to have been asked to be on the Team representing Canada and looking forward to meeting people from different countries. Good luck to all.

Emilee ChamberlandMy name is Emilee Chamberland, I am 18 years old and I reside in Langley British Columbia. I am currently attending University. I have been riding with Chris and Jodie Moore of Moore performance Horses since I was 9 years old. I was the NWCC 13& under High Point and the Novice Youth Reserve High Point, High Point 14-18 BCPHC. I have earned my Youth Versatility and ROM’s in most events with my horse CCR Dreamboat Annie. I enjoy showing all- around although I prefer western. This will be my last year as a youth competitor so I am very excited to be part of the Paint World games.

Kristen ChamberlandMy name is Kirsten Chamberland, I am 14 years old and reside in Langley British Columbia. I am currently in grade 8. I have been riding with Chris and Jodie Moore of Moore Performance Horses since I was 6 years old. I was the NWCC High Point Walk Trot for 3 consecutive years, NWCC Reserve High Point 13 & under, Zone One Walk trot High Point 2 consecutive years, Reserve Super horse zone one, Paint World Champion Walk Trot Equitation as well as Multiple top ten’s. I really enjoy the all the events but my favorites are Hunter under Saddle and speed events. I am very lucky to experience the travelling that showing horses allows me, and am honored to be part of the paint world games.

Rinske RupertMy name is Rinske Rupert, and I am from Carbon, Alberta, Canada. I am 16 years old. I have been around horses all my life, but this recent show season was my first full show season. The season started with 4H on Parade, a large show at the Calgary Stampede Grounds. Three days before this show, we picked up my new horse from Rocky Mountain House. ‘Ralph’ and I ended up winning the Reserve High Point award, with only a few days of knowing each other. This was our first big accomplishment. My horse’s registered name is RMW CLASS SPECIAL. He is a Sorrel Tobiano Gelding. Ralph is very loving. I love him because of his unique personality. Even though we have had less than a year of working together, we already know each other very well, and have a true bond with a lot of trust in each other. Showing paint horses has really brought us all together and I hope it will do the same for me this year as I try my skills out in 2010 at the Youth World Games!
