Youth World Games Team Holland
Vera Houweling: Will compete in Trail. She's 18 years old. She
has been riding for 10 years. She has a 8 year old solid paint bred gelding
named Eagles Blue warrior. With that horse she has won many prices, here are
just a few : 4 times Dutch champion (several disciplines), Youth Champion,
Reserve youth solid paint bred all around champion, Reserve best youth trail,
Champion best youth horsemanship. This is her first time to the APHA World show.
Jaime Meeuwissen: Will
compete in Pleasure (horsemanship). He is the only male member. He is 17 years
old. He is riding for almost his whole life and starting with the western when
he was 9 years old. He does not have a own horse but shows a lot of different
horses mostly show Play Crow (paint horse gelding). He has won many prices, here
are just a few: many YEPHA awards (year end point high awards) in many
categories, many times Dutch champion in many categories. This is his first time
to the APHA World show.
Isabelle van Seumeren: Will
compete in the
Showmanship. She is 18 years old. She is riding now for 7 years. She has not
much show experience because she had a young horse which she trained named
Indian Rebel Go Grand (paint horse gelding). After he was finished to show she
decided that she wants’ to go further with the reining instead of pleasure. This
is her first time to the APHA World show.
Lisanne Olyhoek: Will
compete in the Hunt Seat. She is 18 years old. She is riding now for 8 years.
She has a Solid Paint Bred mare named RB Express Olena. With that horse she has
won many prices, here are just a few: 6 times Dutch Champion (several
disciplines), #3 in zone 12 for Solid Paint Bred. This is her first time to the
APHA World show.
Chelsea van den Berg: Will
be Reserve. She is with her 13 years old the youngest member of the Dutch
Diamonds. She is riding since she was 6 and she is riding western for 5 years.
She has a paint gelding named Commander Bucky. With that horse she has won many
prizes, here are just a few: Dutch champion 13 and under in pleasure, Zilver
medaille dutch championship in 13 and under trail. Also she was All-round
Reserve Champion 13 and under. This is her first time to the APHA World show.
Nikki India: She will be the
second coach. She is 20 years old. She is riding for 15 years and has her own
training stable. She has shown the most with Herschl Time (paint gelding). She
has won many prizes with many horses here are just a few: 1 times grand champion
APHA, many times APHA reserve champion, 2 YEPHA's (year end point high awards)
in youth western pleasure and halter, Bronze medal APHA World show with Dutch
Diamonds, 10 times silver and 3 times bronze on Dutch Championship in many
categories. She competed in 2008 with the Dutch Diamonds for the Netherlands on
the APHA World show. There they received a bronze medal!
Jan Pieter Koopman: He
will be the coach. He is 30 years old. He is riding for 17 years and has his own
training stable. He has shown the most with Play Crow( Paint gelding) He has won
many prizes with many horses, here are just a few: 7 times Dutch champion (many
categories), many prizes on the European championship. He competed 5 times in
the Dutch team as a team member. He was the coach in 2008 of the Dutch Diamonds
on the APHA World show. Thanks to his good training the won a bronze medal, on
the first time the Dutch ever compete on the APHA World show.
