AjPHA will be hosting its 2012 Leadership
Conference in
Grapevine, Texas June 1-2!
Conference registration due by April 15th
Enhance your leadership skills while having fun in Fort Worth, TX. The conference
will be held June 1-2. The
conference will include several team-building, public speaking, and personal
strength mini-sessions. Participants will also have a chance to share their
ideas about the AjPHA in a general AjPHA membership meeting on Saturday.
Travel Accommodations
Please be aware participants are responsible for making their own travel
arrangements, including HOTEL RESERVATIONS. Hotel rooms will be blocked by APHA
at the Hilton Lakes DFW Hotel in conjunction with the 2012 APHA
Convention. Please visit www.apha.com/convention for complete details.
Participants are encouraged to share hotel rooms with members of their regional
club or youth group. The Director of Youth Activities will also maintain a list
of chaperones willing to share their room with other participants. Please see
Section C of the registration form for details.
Chaperones
All youth must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Chaperones should oversee
no more than 8 youth. Chaperones are asked to pay $25 to offset the price of
meals and tours.
