AjPHA will be hosting its 2010 Leadership
Conference in Nashville, TN October 1-2!
Conference registration due by Septemer 1st
Enhance your leadership skills while having fun at the base of the beautiful
Colorado Rockies. The conference will be held October 2-4 at the Double
Tree-World Arena Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The conference will
include several team-building, public speaking, and personal strength
mini-sessions. Participants will also have a chance to share their ideas about
the AjPHA in a general AjPHA membership meeting on Friday night.
Travel Accommodations
Please be aware participants are responsible for making their own travel
arrangements, including HOTEL RESERVATIONS. Hotel rooms will be blocked by APHA
at the Double Tree-World Arena Hotel in conjunction with the 2009 APHA
Convention. Please visit www.apha.com/convention for complete details.
Participants are encouraged to share hotel rooms with members of their regional
club or youth group. The Director of Youth Activities will also maintain a list
of chaperones willing to share their room with other participants. Please see
Section C of the registration form for details.
Chaperones
All youth must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Chaperones should oversee
no more than 8 youth. Chaperones are asked to pay $25 to offset the price of
meals and tours.
