AjPHA Executive Committee and Zone Representatives
elected during 2010 Summer World Show!

New appointees will serve youth association for 2010-2011 term year

Fort Worth, TX—Amidst the horse show classes and vast array of other activities scheduled during the annual Youth World Championship Paint Horse Show, the AjPHA (American Junior Paint Horse Association) makes use of the gathering of its constituents to vote on and elect representatives to its leadership board.

The AjPHA and its parent organization, the American Paint Horse Association (APHA) formally announce and welcome the young people who have been elected to the 2010-2011 American Junior Paint Horse Association’s Executive Committee. These positions were voted on by the Youth Directors throughout the course of the Summer World Show after the AjPHA National Convention.

AjPHA National Directors represent their state, province, or country. They are responsible for directing association business, including voting on by-law changes and electing the AjPHA Executive Committee. National Directors meet annually at the AjPHA National Convention, and are asked for input on association activities throughout the year.

Zone Representatives:

The American Junior Paint Horse Association is the youth association of the American Paint Horse Association. Anyone aged 18 & under (as of January 1st) with an interest in Paint Horses is invited to join the “j.” AjPHA members enjoy the same membership benefits as adult APHA members, and can participate in APHA approved shows and programs. In addition, the AjPHA offers activities geared toward youth, including a youth leadership conference, art contest, photography contest, short story contest, and horse judging contest. AjPHA members are part of a huge family of friends sharing a common bond- a love for the American Paint Horse.
