I love their versatility, willing attitude, and fun markings.
What do you like most about AjPHA?
I like how much AjPHA is involved with its members and how great they are in
promoting the paint horse breed.
What has owning a horse taught you/or what have you gotten out of it?
My horses have given me so much joy and have shown me more love than I can even
begin to express. They have taught me a great deal of responsibility, patience,
and determination.
What would you say to someone who might be interested in owning a paint horse?
They are a great breed. I have owned and worked with other breeds, but the paint
horse has impressed me to no end. No matter what discipline or events you
prefer, a paint can take you in just about any direction
What would you say to someone that is thinking about starting to compete in
APHA shows?
Go for it! It's good for you and good for your horse. APHA is great to work with
and there is a lot of enjoyment through fun competition.
