What do you like most about paint horses?
Her two blue eyes and her laid back personality, until it’s time to run its all Focus.

What do you like most about AjPHA??
How it encourages youth riders to go out there and compete.

What has owning a horse taught you?
My family has owned horses ever since I was a baby so it’s not just a learning process, it’s my lifestyle. However horses are different then a pet fish, you have to listen to the horse and care for them.

What would you say to someone who might be interested in owning a paint horse?
I would tell them to go for it. Paints are graceful and are fun to be around.

What would you say to someone that is thinking about starting to compete in APHA shows?
To put themselves out there, don’t hold back and wait for someone to make friends with you. Everyone at APHA is kind and excited to see a new face in their organization. It’s a family oriented group and they adore seeing people improve in their riding.
