AjPHA Programs

AjPHA offers a variety of programs for our youth members. Whether it is improving your riding or learning all you can about horses and leadership you can gain valuable knowledge (and have fun!) with AjPHA.

PAC
Paint Alternative Competition is designed to give youth the opportunity to count their open show and 4-H accomplishments on their Paint Horse’s records and achieve year end awards for their efforts. This is a great way for youth to get started in the show arena, and gain experience without adding too much cost. Have a picture of a yearend PAC person, later small intro to a video of a youth talking about PAC.

Ride America®
If wide open spaces and taking long relaxing rides is what you enjoy doing with your Paint Horse then Ride America® may be the program for you. Track your hours spent riding your horse, and earn certificates and awards for your progress and time. With a small one-time fee, this program is affordable and flexible.

APHA Shows
Whether it is a club or regional show, zone show, or World Championship Show, We strive to offer classes to make everyone feel comfortable in the show ring. With leadline, walk trot, and novice classes for those who are getting started, and age-division classes in 13 & under and 14-18, so each member has the chance to find equal competition. Youth members earn points and awards during the year that can be accumulated toward seven different year-end award categories for both horse and rider.
